Last weekend I successfully co-hosted a turtle's birthday party. ...Which is truly not a sentence I ever imagined myself writing. Valentine's Day was very odd. I really thought Victor would love his gift, but it seemed like he'd been expecting something more. I'm not sure what else he could've wanted beyond dinner at a lovely restaurant and the promise of a holiday this summer, though.

He's been acting fine since then, so perhaps it was just my imagination.

Last week I did something a bit silly and bought an engagement ring. We're not too far into 2013 yet, but it's been nice so far. Sales at the gallery have remained consistent, though we've marked some pieces down to get them sold and make room for new ones, and Victor and I had a lovely time at the wedding last weekend.
