What do I do?

Britany woke me at 2:30 AM to tell me that there were some police officers who wanted to talk to me. One was just outside my room, so I invited him in. I hate her. You have a right to too. She's a bitch and deserves the worst. She doesn't know you.. she doesn't know my friends..and for god's sake she doesn't even fucking know me. I love you mom. I want you to know that. I once told you nothing could keep you me and Sarah apart.. I meant it.

It's strange that parents who have no clue about their children resent those of us who do have a clue. Some of us have more information about what goes on than we ever could have wanted, but the differnce is that we love and accept the kids anyway. I don't have to love their behaviour, but I can love the person anyway. Imagine a home that's a safe haven, where the kids have adults who listen. So few of them have that, and it's truly a shame.

Ok, so I'm figuring you were piessd about the booze, but not about the presence of the teens in question. One of my regulars has a mom that resents him being here all the time; but I really don't get why. He's safe, he's straight, he's sober, what the hell's her problem? My problem is that we're leaving and I'm worried about him.

It's so hard to watch them, and this is a hard town to be a teen. Hang in there, they need you.~hug~
