Jenny asked her boss about giving me another contract, and was told that that was possible if I am available. We are going to talk about it tomorrow morning. The thing is, it is likely to only be a month or two, and I have a four month project lined up already. If it were a semi-permanent contract, I'd jump at it, but I can't cancel the Sabine job

I'm not holding out much hope for a permanent cemetery position, but if one comes open (probably the main hurdle,) I think I have a pretty good shot at it. The history division director seems to like me, and the head of the cemetery program told me she wants me as a permanent employee.
I did get some news about temp work at the THC, but I'll save that for a post I'm going to write today.

Oh well. I've not managed to get a foot in at the THC as of yet, and I'm worried my time working with Sergio have hurt my prospects (or that I just come off as overbearing). It is rather disheartening to hear they hired from out of state instead of the hundreds of locals that applied.

I thought Sergio was well thought of in the archeology division, but I base that mostly on Mark Denton seeming to have fond memories of him.
