Well, Christmas is over with and I'm back at home unwinding before I go to bed.  This year was odd though.  All month long, and even the day of, it just really didn't feel like Christmas to me.  I always try to avoid 'getting into the spirit' until the day of, simply because I get burnt out on it really easy, but I never really felt the need for it ( Read more... )

As the title says, I am home from Midwest FurFest, and the weekend was awesome.  I sold over $300 in two days at the artist's alley.  That more than covered my badge and expenses going there, and unloaded about half of my stock.  Surprisingly, the leashes didn't sell, but I guess it makes sense, since they were my most expensive items.  I've got ( Read more... )

My roommate's girlfriend recently gave me a new rescue tube that she had from when she lifeguarded last summer. As the ones we have are beat to all hell (probably to the point where we'd get shut down if our insurance saw that that was our equipment), it really stands out that I have one in decent repair. I have been in a funk for a bit now. I've been irritable and depressed and reclusive, much more than usual. I tend to keep to myself and stay at home a lot normally, but lately it seems like I've been really making an effort to stay away from people.
