Bored in London? What?

It's truly ridiculous that I am bored in London, but everything here closes at 6 so there's nothing to do unless you go out to a pub or something. I do want to go to a show one evening, hopefully Ill see Les Mis, but Miami people seem to think it's dumb to see and do things in london that you could do at home, such as seeing broadway plays that we ( Read more... )

You should definitely go out out at least once in London... when we were there, we walked around one night and there are some really cool looking clubs! Maybe worth doing at least once, just to see what it's like.

OH, and definitely go out and walk around one evening... it's just really interesting! Trafalgar Square at night is BEAUTIFUL. It's impossible to take a bad picture.

Pubs are worth a trip at least once too... try Magner's Cider, if they have it. (Quite good!, and not yucky like beer).

I do want to go out, I just need to find a group who isnt going out simply to get wasted. But thanks for the drink suggestion (im so clueless about drinks).

Trafalgar square at night, got it. The Tower Bridge is open till 8, so one evening I should go to both of those and get awesome night pictures.

It's kinda cold and rainy tonight and we walked around all day getting burger king research... so hopefully one of these nights Ill feel up to going out. I still really wanna find the Hard Rock Cafe, but working on a project all day from 830-5 is very tiring and is ruining my vacation. Luckily we have a three day weekend coming up.

When do you leave England?

It's not exactly "Broadway" in London, now is it? But seriously, if I were in London, I would definitely be seeing a show. or shopping. or complaining about how it always rains, even though I can do all of that right here (especially the rain part). Even if you were here, you'd still have to go to New York or Chicago to see the quality shows you can probably find in London...

DEFINITELY go and see something on B'way in London! It's a totally different kind of theatre. If it's possible, try to scrounge up some tickets for "Mary Poppins." Now, I know that sounds ridiculous, but I've heard it's absolutely fascinating. The director of the theatre program at my school saw it while he was there and absolutely loved it. Trust me when I say that the man is hard to please....so that means it must be good! Anyway, just a suggestion :-) "Les Mis" would ALWAYS be good too, hehe. Have fun!
