Still  alive. Working, working, working.  Had one of those weeks two weeks ago where I thought I couldn't do it anymore.  I'm stressed out.  Getting the dry heaves almost daily evey morning.  We are supposed to have 5 to 8 projects/clients.  I have 18 and on my 5th trainee.  The most recent two are causing me  more stress though as their work is ( Read more... )

Up late unwinding by watching The Notebook on TV and when it got to the part where she was going away to school, it reminded me of when I went away.  I packed up the car, waved goodbye to my parents as I pulled way and hit the road 400 miles to LA, pulled up to the dorm and saw everyone with their parents moving in.

Just got this for my mother for her birthday.  As ya'll know, she's not well.  Today she just cried in frustration, so anything I can do to cheer her up, I'll do.  She's on the computer all the time  researching  and this will replace her current 12" laptop that she's had for years and has been complaining it's too slow.

I work every weekend, but when I can, I frequent a particular coffee shop just to get out since it has solid and fast internet access.  I can't really do it during the week because I have too many web meetings.  I went today though since it's Saturday and worked most of the day there.
