When Mooninites Attack

I may be the only person who thinks this, but I'll throw it out there: In a way I’m actually proud that Boston was the first city to respond to the danger of the invading Mooninites.

Oh, I'm vacillating between "Wait, these devices have been around for two weeks and we're just now responding?" and feeling sorry for the artist who got arrested - it sounds like he was just doing a job and was operating under the good-faith assumption that a well-known company like Turner wouldn't hire him to do anything stupid or illegal - and laughing my ass off at certain results of the furor. Do you have a link to anything describing what the "devices" actually *were*? The only link I've seen so far is to FOX News, and their coverage sucks. (I suppose I could look it up, but I'm tired and lazy.)

No really they DID look this campy and they WERE up for almost 2 weeks before the Boston police came to the rescue! Either way they get a D for effort since not only did they over react, they over reacted 2 weeks late when we all would have long since been dead had this been the real thing!!

I love how you worked a Children of Men reference into a story about Aqua Teen Hunger Force. The force is strong in you.
