There is something uniquely calming about having a baby sleeping on you.  Or 3 babies if they are kittens.  I've always been good about getting kids to go to sleep while I am holding them.  Some thing which I haven't done in a very long time.  Today we let the last of the latest batch of kittens out into the rest of the house before I went off to ( Read more... )

I'm going to end up missing Pallas for the first time ever.  Katlyn ended up having her theater and dance events this wekend.  And I seem to have come down with an annoying cold/flu thing.  I'm stuffy and achey.  So if I had gone, it probably wouldn't have been very fun.  I hope everybody has fun,  I will be.  :)

So on Sunday we took the kids out to the pool.  It is still way to cold for me to actually go in the pool.  So I hung out in the jacuzzi.  We were not out there very long, only about 2 hours.   Except when we got back home, I was a nice fluorescent pink.  So I was slathering myself in aloe for the night.  I'm starting to get towards a normal color ( Read more... )
