Cooking for one and mazes of books
Aside from the normal, day-to-day struggles, I am doing so well right now. My bills are paid, I have groceries, great friends, the opportunity to learn new things and more books to keep me occupied than I know what to do with. But right now, it feels so empty. I miss my family

I've been seeing this guy named Sean for a little while and he's mentioned maybe staying at his place for the holidays because most of his family is in Tennessee and he won't be able to fly out for a visit this year--at least probably not. His work hours are kind of the suck lately.
I miss you so very much. I wasn't planning on being in town this week but I would love to make an exception for you. Date night? You and me?
