//video
{Hello, Johto! Today you have a rather philosophical Nanao popping up on your 'Gears.}

I have a question for you, fellow inhabitants of Johto. What does Christmas mean to you?

//action
{Since it's a lovely sunny Sunday, Nanao is out and about and indulging in what looks to be retail therapy at most of the stores in Goldenrod. Interact Y/N?}

busy busy, video fo sho, retail therapy, goldenrod, actual normality, walking the streets, christmas is coming, short post is short, action, buying all the things, why is it so cold, talk to me johto, she has a list

I've seen a lot of them. it's changed over the years. Once it was even banned. But recently... peace. It means peace, even just for a day.

I think that answer is the nicest I've heard yet, England-san.

I admit, it doesn't seem all that possible at the moment, but even I'm tired of war.

Oh, believe me when I say so am I. This past century has been far too full of conflict for my liking.

[This is probably going to be the most excited answer she's probably going to get, as a warning - mostly because it's yelled out and America's arms are flailing everywhere.]

Everything! Christmas trees and decorations, lots of dinner and presents and parties! Having coffee by the fireplace while playing video games too! [His eyes are pretty much sparkling - it's easy to see he really loves holidays-]

And if it's snowed you can go outside and make snowmen! [It's the only reason he'll go outside during winter, that.]

{O-ow, her eardrums...}

You seem... very excited about Christmas.

And you needn't worry about snow, last year we had nine feet in three days, or something.

[O-oops... sorry!]

Yeah, well, it's the best holiday! Even... if it's in winter.

[There's... quite a long pause before-] N-nine feet?! [It's... kind of like home. Or Canada's place!]

Spending time with friends and family. It should never be about the presents.

That is best attitude to have, I find.

Of course. I treat presents like they're extra bonuses. Why do you ask?

What's Christmas? Is it another holiday or something?

[Video] Sounds like a plan! used_glare November 17 2011, 23:37:22 UTC
That's right! It's an old Earth custom, but considering how many people are here from different worlds, it's not a surprise that some people wouldn't know about it.

It sounds like your version of Earth celebrates a lot. Hey, where are you exactly? I'm still in Goldenrod, so maybe we can talk in person.

{She laughs a little.}

It does, I suppose. And at the moment I'm in a little cafe by the bicycle shop, if you'd like to talk.

Celebrating with my siblings, I guess. [ Man, he's going to miss another Christmas with them thanks to Johto. This kind of bothers him. ]

{Hurrah! Expanding her knowledge of the world's countries one by one.}

That's lovely.

{Call her sentimental if you'd like, but she misses her old life.}
