[ for once (strangely enough, he's not usually the type to want to be seen all that often), Suzaku is opting for the voice function. he's just a little too thoughtful today; it's bordering on brooding. during the feed, the faint purr of a feline can be heard, a never-ending faint rumble in the background. ]

I suppose that it is normal to feel this way, especially when you feel like there are so many things you feel you need to accomplish back home.

[ She doesn't really say, but she does often worry about the work as the mediator for the PLANT and Earth that she left unfinished after the war. Now, she was here and helpless. ]

Someday, that wish may come true, but until then... iIt may not be much, but all I can do now... is believe in what Athrun told me.

That time flows differently here...

Mm, I've heard it, too. I've seen proof, too-sort of. But...

[ but still. ]

You are afraid that when you return you will be too late to prevent a tragedy from happening?

You don't need to worry! Allll the stuff back home is stopped while you're here.

Can anyone really be sure of that?

Well...

[herp. this one's a bit of a hard one. a little 'hmm', and then:]

... Sometimes people that've been here a looong time meet people who just came in, from home! They can end up here for months, but it's like they never left! At least, it was like that with me.

But the time that they might come from is-or can be-different, can't it? So even if we don't appear to have disappeared from home, things could still progress.

There's sort of a way, but it's not anything anyone's got a say in.

There is? What is it?

Sometimes people fall asleep... and they wake up remembering having gone home. It's kinda weird, and I don't really know how it works...

Dreaming about going home isn't so unusual, though, is it?

I do kinda wonder. I don't have anything really life-or-death to be doing, but I think my clan might miss me.

Your clan?

Uh-huh. My clan was a bunch of Viera- normally a clan does things like take jobs fighting monsters and stuff.

I've never heard of Viera, sorry.

[ ugh. ]

Tell me if you find a way. The last thing I need is coming home to a war I caused by my disappearance.

Supposedly, everything stops while we're here, but there are some things that don't seem to line up. The fact that times can change for people from the same place, and things like that.

How the heck can time stop anyway?

I don't know. It doesn't seem likely to me, but people seem to have proof of it being that way when they're sent back and show up again.
