FWIW, my neighbor's baby was born under similar circumstances late last summer. He was 5lbs at birth, and yes, that is SO tiny! But he has met every single developmental milestone, and is standing up and stuff @ 10 months. He's a darling. Still a little on the small side, but that makes him easier to carry and hold. Otherwise, he's totally fine! I'm sure your next generation will be the same.
Looks like it is going the same way with Arya, already -- at her last checkup, she'd gained back all the lost birth weight, and is on her way up, up, up! She's over 6 lb. now, and starting to make funny faces and little noises that aren't crying; y'know, the usual: "Ah! Bah! Buh!" LOL.

She's a slightly less tiny beauty now -- almost up to six pounds! Woo-hoo! :D And it's been incredibly awesome, for all of us. What a trip! :D
