I'm honestly so overwhelmed by RL that I haven't had the time to stop and think about NaNo but I'll be attempting to finish my Losers/Pacific Rim fic and writing the sequel to my Tokyo Ghoul one. My main thing is going to be scheduling in writing time around working and studying but fingers crossed.
Oh well .. where to begin. My head is wrapped up in RL problems - namely in finding a new job since my company will throw me out at the end of the year. As the main provider of our family that threw me a bit off balance as you can guess - it's the main reason why I have been so absent lately

I did twenty mins this morning, and ended up with fewer words than I started with, but at least they were better words!
In Nov, I will be mostly writing my BBC Merlin modern-day sequel, which is currently full of disaster, and I'm hoping will turn apocalyptic sometime soon. It's now at 20200 words and nowhere near an ending.
But! I have also signed up for Small Fandom Bang to write an Eagle of the Ninth story, and I have a WIP that has been languishing for some time about Cottia as a very old lady who solves crimes in Roman Britain. So I need to put some time into that as well.
BUT I have two big work projects that need to be done by Christmas AND another project that has gone sour and is eating way too much time and coping ability. I am a bit stressed about that. But still, writing things is good stress relief, yes/yes ?
Yay, perfect timing! I've spent all year writing a post-series White Collar 'verse, and I have one more story I want to get done before the end of the year (hopefully to round the wordcount out to a nice big number). I've given everyone a happy ending except June, so...
I've been feeling waffly and unmotivated and super-distractable, and dealing with various bodily aches and pains (particularly when sitting at the computer). Ten min/day is exactly the right goal. And I love check-ins!

I often feel like 'not sleeping should be a way of freeing up time for writing' AND YET.

Yeah, it's funny how that "I'm awake anyway so I should be able to write" thing never seems to work out, huh? Very annoying to be sure.
Let's hope for the best, shall we?

Good luck with finding a new job - and one which you enjoy doing too!

You can totally do ten minutes a day! And even if you can't, I'm here with a stash of chocolate and alcohol, whatever floats your boat. ::grins::
We're in it to win it! *\o/*
