I've been neglecting this journal.  I guess I'm just lazy, but it seems sad just to leave it to languish, so here I am again.  Thanks to beloved_recluse for reminding me this place still exists.

Job:  Moved from 7th floor to 5th floor this week.  I moved on the first day.  6.5 hours of it was spent waiting for them to move my desk.  The second day, my coworker had a desk (the third one, since they couldn't get the lockset right) by 10am and her phone and network connection by 10:15.  I had to hook up my own phone and computer, getting it ( Read more... )

I did indeed survive my bariatric surgery April 22, as beloved_recluse pointed out.  It's mostly a waiting game at this point.  I have to wait to go back to work, I have wait to move to more solid foods, I have to wait to heal my incisions, etc.  I want fish.  And beans.  And stuff that has more consistency than yogurt and soup.  Whine ( Read more... )
