and no, I'm not giving you the cold shoulder

This is not something I would encourage you to "come down with."

I have had this problem for a few months now, and it's been getting worse and worse since it first became an issue. I finally got into a doctor to diagnose it. Fortunately, I won't need surgery, but I will have to live with it until it goes away.

What are you doing in terms of pain management?

Well they gave me a cortisone shot yesterday to help with inflammation and pain. I start Physical therapy in a week where they will work the hell out of it to try to break up the bonds that are causing the pain. No pain meds at this time, but I will probably take a lot of tylenol and the like in the meantime.

The pain in excruciating, like on those pain charts, this is a 7-9, almost the worst pain I have ever felt.

ok enough about my bitching. I will bitch to you about it tonight :)

Ugh, that's rough! I'm sorry this is happening to you. Stick to the therapy and damn that demon out of there!

thanks, it has been really painful at weird times. Like grabbing my cellphone out of my jacket pocket the "wrong" way. The whole arm goes numb and throbs for several seconds. But knowing can be normal again, is very uplifting.
