I got an A- in Greek 2, so I’m now up to a 3.4 I hope to be at a 3.5 or 3.6 by the end of the fall semester, and I’m gonna have to write some killer papers to do that.

im gonna have to shoot for 2007 :-( i was training to run boston for this year (not qualifying or anything, just show up and run) before my asthma got worse and i had to basically start over with learning how to manage it. i’d be trainging now, but also hurt my back, again (grrrrrrrrrrrrrr), the end of june and i’m in PT. I want to walk the stone steps Jesus walked, retrace Paul’s journeys, stand in the foundations of the second Temple, climb Mt Sinai (if only we knew which one it is). the seminary has an OT course that does all this and goes to Jordan as well (I think), but I don;t think it gets offered much. If it’s not while I’m a student, I’ll go with JUC.

I’m 1/3 of the way through Women Leaders and the Church. Very cool book. Women had more freedom to serve without men giving it a second thought 2000 years ago than we do today. What’s wrong with us today?!? We think too much of gender differences, whereas the early church knew that the Holy Spirit gifted people as he chose, regardless of age, ( Read more... )

this is an awesome book I'm reading - I'm 1/3 of the way through. I said a little about it on 43things, and posted it here, but i want to say what i'm most excited about besides all that.
