Finally... this week is over.

I'm on call this weekend, so I'll be around if anybody wants to do stuff.

And I'm craving something greasy and guaranteed to shave time off my lifespan. Did somebody say McDonalds?

When did I develop so many of these weird compulsions? Wooden spoons/tongue depressors, sidewalk cracks, the name "Geoffrey" *SHUDDERS*, my placement at computer stations in MMTH in relation to the other lab patrons....

They've got to be stress-induced or something. I never had ANY of these problems before I came to college.

I've got to dress up for a directed discussion in Yambor's class in the next hour or so. However, the khakis I want to wear for the occasion are in the dryer right now, so I'm currently sitting in front of my computer wearing a dress shirt, a tie, and NO PANTS. Last night was spent in a very sepulchral McCormack hall. I sped and road-raged my way back from Lexington, ultimately pulling into the VIP lot at a little before six. It was kind of nice.

The time since then seems to have been filled mostly with reconciliation. with both others and myself. Apparently, reconciliation is not a short process....

The Ohio landscape is pita-bread flat, sprawling shades of brown and grey that stretch to the horizon. The drive reminds me of a game I played as a kid- you steer a tiny plastic car over landscape that keeps repeating. Such are the lands north of Kentucky.
