Actually, a 128-bit WEP encryption is not nearly as secure as you think. It's all smoke and mirrors really. Anyone with network know-how can easily find out your router's IP associated addresses and gain access to your network. There is an option somewhere in the setup to find out what IP addresses have been assigned. If you say you are the only one using it then there obviously should only be one IP assigned. If there are more you can maunally remove them but that only being a temporary solution. If I lived closer I'd be happy tocome help but...sorry;)
Yeah, I've definitely heard that 128 is not the height of security as it once was, but it seemed sufficient to block my neighbors or anyone else around here... thanks for the advice though, I am going to fiddle with the router and make sure no one is fucking with anything. :)
