I keep watching video from the UUA General Assembly. I wanted to post about Right Relations and other things, but I don't have the time.

I recently watched: United Church of Christ President Rev. Geoffrey A. Black on two vimeo videos on this blog.

In this video, you can see some people are bold, some people are shy. Some take to dancing right away. Some start slowly. Some dance wildly while others drum on their thighs. Yesterday I was able to participate in mini-assemblies. I never did when I participated live. It was great to be a part of that important process.

I think I'm ADD & try to do too much - I need to focus. Offsite is easier for me to focus, though we miss lyrics and translations, but there will be improvements in the future. Of course, we miss those ( Read more... )

There are 85 people registered to be delegates offsite (not in AZ with people who are there live). This is the first year the UUA allows voting to count from offsite delegates. We voted only once so far - there were over 50 of us online last night to vote to open General Assembly (GA).

Today our interim minister gave his final sermon, My Life as a Muppet, which was so apropos. Like Bruce, I also am an introvert and being a UU brings out the muppet in me. :)  I sang and signed "Rainbow Connection" which is such a joyous song.

I bought 1/2 fat icecream (more like icemilk, but that's what was available as the lowest cal icecream at the grocery store). I didn't notice when I bought it, but I just noticed that It says "CHURNED" on it in big letters. So I'm thinking, what do people who read that think? What do the advertisers think we think?
