I hate Fox. I really, honestly do.

So Drive got cancelled.

Another excellent show just pulled from the air and has left me frustrated. Drive is just another ‘x’ next to the long list of brilliant shows already cancelled by Fox: Firefly, Dark Angel, Tru Calling, Wonderfalls, Family Guy, and Futurama. All of these shows were exceptionally well written, well acted (both voice and ( Read more... )

*sings* ...'coz we are living in a material world, and Fox is a material...*stops* ..err... TV station kinda doesn't fit in there... XD

"Fortunately" shows that get cancelled so quickly never make it here, so I only get the frustrating moments where they cancel a show that's already waaaay in. Like Angel. Meh.

I guess you're lucky in that way. I mean, I wish I never even got into Drive, but as luck would have it, I did...and I dislike this sulking feeling.

Yes and that doesn't mention John Doe - which wasn't brilliant but it was intriguing and the season/series finale was a cliffhanger that never really got answered and also Keen Eddie - which I never saw but my mom and brother enjoyed it and it was treated horribly by the network ( ... )

I bemoan DLM too. It was far too brilliant for its own good- although you told me they might be making a movie. If the film turns out to be successful, we might even have a movie franchise!

And you're right about the annoying. I invested time and emotion into a show, only to leave it open ended and incomplete. I really hope this teaches Tim Minear and Nathan Fillion to never, ever work with Fox again.

Indeed, yes, made worse by the death of Wash in the movie.

No, it is not just you. We just have less of an attention span, and TV channels I assume have the desire to make millions more dollars than they used to make in previous years. That equals more attempts at higher rating shows but less people watching all of them. Ie, show cancellations!

Sorry your show got cancelled buddy.

Thanks Ley-me.
I warn you to be wary of pilot shows you might like. They might die on you...
