Long explanation short- KiraKira(DQN) Name: trend of giving your babies "special" names, so "special" they can neither be read or understood on a general basis
Names given to children, not fictional characters.
**I know it's probably really rude of me to make fun of "names" that "parents" thought about and gave their children. That being so, I can't help but feel negative-vibe as to this seeming disregard, even outright disrespect of the the Japanese language.
It's a big peeve I have of this "older stuff is stupid" mindset. Even teachers preach that anybody in the past was ignorant. It ain't so.
My pet-peeve with using "空"(sora=sky) in names also back here.
So yeah, this is in essence making fun of someone's name since allegedly these are all names that were given to a child. If the kid likes it and is proud of it, all the better, yahoo, hooray. All's I'm showing here is the social phenomenon. And a possible embarrassment in language/culture.
***Kanji reads in the "Breakdown" parentheses are not in particular order regarding on readings and kun readings.
Type ①: WTFuse Reads: Kanji being forcefully read
Name the parents want + kanji the parents want to use.
At least they (theoretically) looked up what each kanji means. But do respect kanji are read a certain way for a reason.

姫愛麗=きあら (Kiara)
Breakdown: 姫=princess (hime, ki), 愛=love (ai, me), 麗=beautiful (urara, rei)
--Just, this combination of only overly ornate kanji, it gives a sort of heart-bearn sensation. You know? Feels like too much sugar.
A much healthier combination is mundane kanji+ornate kanji.
苺苺苺="まりなる" (Marinaru)
Breakdown: 苺=strawberry (ichigo, mai, bai)
--STRAWBERRYSTRAWBERRYSTRAWBERRY. Probably a spin on a fictional character name? Otherwise no idea where "Marinaru" comes from. No idea what it means either.
究極美子="くみこ" (Kumiko)
Breakdown: 究極=ultimate (kyuukyoku) (究=specialization, to master (kyuu), 極=most, pole (kyoku, goku)), 美=beautiful (bi, mi, utsukushii), 子=child (ko, shi)
--ULTIMATELY BEAUTIFUL CHILD. Modesty goes boom.
龍神="りか" (Rika)
Breakdown: 龍=dragon (ryuu, tatsu), 神=god (kami, shin, jin), 龍神=dragon god (ryuujin)
--Dragon god. Again, superbly extravagant kanji.
壽魅麗="すみれ" (Sumire)
Breakdown: 壽=congratulations, longevity (kotobuki, koto, shyuu), 魅=enthrall (mi, hikareru), 麗=beautiful (urara, rei); すみれ=violet (sumire)
--Sumire, such a cute name! so.. "Celebration of this captivating beauty!". And um, good luck to the kid for learning how to write her name.
逢慧瑠="あえる" (Aeru)
Breakdown: 逢=meet (oo, au), 慧=wisdom (satoi, e), 瑠=jewel (ru)
--Super hard-to-write kanji + name that doesn't really exist. Maybe a pun on "aeru", "we'll be able to meet".
玄鬼="げんき" (Genki)
Breakdown: 玄=dark brown, deep (kuro, gen), 鬼=demon (oni, ki)
--Okay, the read itself is possible, and probably a spin on 元気 (genki). There's just something off about choosing to use "神"(god) and "鬼"(demon) in your kid's name.
愛百足="あどり" (Adori)
Breakdown: 愛=love (ai, me), 百=hundred (hyaku, byaku), 足=legs (ashi, soku) (足りる=be sufficient (tariru))
--Allegedly means "not even enough to say i love you one hundred times". Not sure where reading "dori" comes from tho. Plus unfortunately 百足 is mukade (centipede). ...love centipede.
Type ①.②: Kanji being forcefully read pt.2: Welcome to International
Non-traditionally Japanese name the parents want + kanji the parents want to use.
It's been around (I have a childhood friend named "Keito"). Let's see what works though.

--You're reading cherry blossom as rose. YOU DON'T GET TO CHOSE BOTH. (*smacks hand) Respect the national flower + the ultimate romantic blossom you ungrateful pricks!
手洗="ていあら" (Tiara)
Breakdown: 手=hand (te, shu), 洗=wash (arau, sen)
--Wash your hand, yep 手洗 (tearai) means restroom.
Note: there does exist a perfectly fine last name "御手洗" (Mitarai) (likely based on land-names as most last-names do), but that seems different than naming your kid after the loo. And yes, Mitairai-sans do get unfairly teased alot.
