The Albertans among you are aware that Alberta has a Statutory Holiday in February called Family Day.

I just found out that Saskatchewan has now joined Alberta and starting this year they also have a Statutory Holiday in February called Family Day. (on the same day as Alberta's)

The rest of the country better get on the ball. :-)

Izzy is currently playing a Grade 1 Math computer game. And she can do the problems in it. This kid is scary smart. I think our biggest problem is going to be trying to keep her from getting bored in school.

So T asked me how many kms are on the Honda, and it's 230,000. So I started thinking about it and I realized that it had 170,000 when we bought it 5 years ago. That means that we have only put 60,000 km on it in 5 years, including 2 trips to Winnipeg. The average person puts on 20,000 km per year, so we are at almost half that.
