Cancer Sucks

It's been a rough couple of weeks. The CT scan showed new tumors on my liver, and growth on the existing tumors. However, the tumor on my lung shrunk another centimeter. The bone scan showed a new spot on my tibia, but that's really not concerning. The only worry about the bone metastasis is that it can cause pain, which it isn't right now

The good vibes paid off, I've got a consult appointment with the genetic mutation clinical trial people next week. Fingers crossed I get in the study.

I am sending love and good vibes and hope that you can get into a clinical trial -- not just for the medical benefits but, as you say, for the emotional and psychological benefit of knowing that you're DOING something. *hugs*

I saw the better news first, so I wanted to say that I offer my sympathies for how hard the waiting and not knowing is. I'm really glad you're going to be able to continue doing something against the disease; I would imagine tha tmust provide at least some sense of agency.
