Sounds vaguely like a MLM scam. You didn't have to pay anything to get hired, did you?

nah, not an MLM. pretty familiar with those.

this is more a typical door-door sales canvassing type job for a local company. nothing really shady. just a bad manager in a small company.

oh but training was unpaid until 2 mos in. which i knew at the outset i'd never get. so i suppose i paid my time.

any job that is trying to get their employees to stay 2 measly months is clearly a BADJOB.

how restricted is your "free time" at work? and how much (after all modifications) do they pay you?

you should start doing freelance web-design or practice writing your great debut novel, when you've nothing to do. or cubicle push-ups. or at least read meta-filter.
