Warnings: Established wincest. Sam and Dean are both demons but they aren't evil, even though their views on morality have shifted some. Both brothers get tortured in this, but the focus is more on hurting Sam than Dean. Some very unpleasant things are mentioned or suggested. There are also clear mentions of past non-con. Most of the story is told from an outsider point of view.

Summary: The Winchesters aren't the only ones occasionally suffering from bad luck. There's a human, for example, who was taken from his family, died, refused eternal peace in order to play meat-suit for an angel, and then had to watch his angel turn himself into a slightly psychopathic god. To make matters worse, the poor human is assigned the task of taking care of a guest in Heaven who came straight from Hell: Sam Winchester, the boy king, taken hostage and threatened in order to make his equally demonic brother follow the new god's orders. And the new god is anything but patient, or merciful.
But neither, the human discovers, are Sam and Dean - especially when it comes to their respective brother being harmed.

Notes and Thanks: This story was written right after the end of season 6. It therefore differs from canon regarding season 7 and Castiel's fate - not to mention the fate of Sam and Dean.
This story works as a stand alone. It is, however, also the starting point of a 'verse I would like to expand in future stories.
I've had a lot of trouble with basically everything related to this minibang, so I'm pretty glad it's over. One thing I had no trouble with at all was marziebarz who kindly offered to beta for me and handed the story back well in time.
I edited this story a lot even after sending it off for betaing and made several changes she never saw. So if there are any errors or sentences that plain make no sense, they are entirely my fault.
Some early communication troubles aside, my artist peach_gurl was very pleasant to work with and created an amazing picture and banner for my story! (Don't forget to comment at her post!)
And of course I need to thank cordelia_gray for running the event and being a wonderful mod!
