091. Stars, Yesung/Kangin
The sky was painted midnight black and sparkling stars were scattered. It was a wonderful night hence the cold breeze that whiffed the trees back and forth from their rooted places. It was cold, silent and heart breaking - or at least, it was to Yesung.
Just as the sun was rising for that very day, Yesung decided to confess to Sungmin but then of course he got dump just like every body else but taking a chance wasn’t bad, right? It just hurt like hell.
Yesung was all alone or was suppose to be all alone, until Kangin decided to accompany him and he knew it was because the latter was afraid Yesung would do such thing like getting his ass drunk or perhaps suicide? No, Yesung was still in his right mind to do such thing but he knew though that Kangin - being Sungmin's older brother - felt the obligation to at least comfort the other.
“Aish. I really don’t know why he is acting like this, Yesung-ah but believe me; I do like you for him.”
“Of course you like me for him - just like the fact that you like the other guys for him as well.”
Yesung chuckled low and short as Kangin smiled in embarrassment and he scratched the back of his head at his loss of words. Yesung felt sympathy for Kangin because he knew Kangin was just so desperate to find his dongsaeng a lover and it wasn’t because Sungmin was grown up already or anything but Kangin just feel sad that there he was, living normally with Eeteuk while his brother was stuck with hearing every mind of every living people. That got to suck hard - really.
“I know how you feel; being his old brother and all but you can’t always take the blame, Kangin-sshi.”
“I know but it’s just really so hard you know? Seeing him furrow his eyebrows whenever he hears someone speak ill about another person and how he ducks his head low when he hears someone compliment him or hear a private thought. It disturbs him very much.”
Of course Yesung knew that because he had observed Sungmin very well since he had met the younger. At first, he thought Sungmin was just in deep thoughts but then he was wrong - someone was in deep thoughts and Sungmin just had to hear it. He knows it is hard for Kangin but more than ever - it is harder for Sungmin especially when he decided not to tell anyone unless it was his family or someone he trusted so deep.
“I just wish he could find his own star - the one that he wouldn’t be capable of reading of.”
“Kangin, Sungmin isn’t meant for just a star.” Yesung’s words made Kangin’s brow shoot up in confusion and Yesung could only smile as he let his gaze fall onto the midnight black painting above them and he reached his hand out onto the sky pretending to catch one star and he placed it in his pocket with a smile. “Sungmin is meant for something more beautiful, more attractive, and more stunning. Sungmin is like a moon and he is meant for the sun.”
Kangin knew Yesung was right and being if it meant that Kangin had to get burnt just to get Sungmin is sun - he would sacrifice it all because being the older brother, he only wanted Sungmin to be happy just like he was with Eeteuk.
