Mom is having a bad day

Mom is not happy today. I think she was already unhappy because she has been taking thin white squares of paper out of a box and putting them in front of her face. Then she makes little noises with her nose or rubs her eyes. Then she sat on the big wet litter box humans use and when she got up it spilled water on the floor. She was saying some ( Read more... )

You are perceptive. It took me a while to learn that the thin white squares of paper meant my human needed purrs. I hope your human is tail-high and whiskers-aquiver again soon.

Mom went out for awhile and when she came back she had a big orange thing. She took it into the little room where the bathtub is and I heard splashing noises and then the noise the wet litter pan makes. She seemed much happier when she came out again. But now that big orange thing is in my bathtub, and it will be in the way when I want to play Archimeowdes, so I hope she takes it out soon. I do not mind when my humans use my bathtub for a few minutes to wash in, but having this big orange thing in it is simply not acceptable.

I was in Mom's lap when she was reading journals and it looks like your human needs some purrs herself. Please give her some licks for me and do something nice for her. Do you have some treats you could share with her? When I'm upset about something my humans give me treats and it always makes me feel better.

Humans always do seem happier when they have made some noise or other. I'm glad your human got some splishy splashy noise therapy. Too bad she left that thing in your bathtub. She needs to find a place to put her toys away!

You're right, it looks like I might have to be nice to my human. She is not even home, and she was gone for a couple of days before she showed up briefly last night, so I am annoyed with her. But maybe I have to be nice to her anyways. Durn humans. So fragile.
