Woke today to an icing cake dusting of snow, pretty view from my warm cosy patio room. Slept late a bit. Eating apricot toast with Earl Grey tea.

7 minute timing on nasal meds, is really working,(= movement no pain)
Had visit from @paulgrounded with nice Earl Grey tea! Managed to stay awake mostly.
Did snooze later in spite of plans to stay awake and get back to normal sleep pattern.
Ate jelly and ice cream!
Very happy no pain episodes so far today(*hopefully*)

So if I squirt the alfentenil up my nose and wait 7 minutes I can move without screaming. Dose lasts for 15 minutes. 2 squirts and I managed to have hot bath and hair wash and dressings changed with no pain, tho I did get a bit of the hissing ears and giddiness.

Pain still being stubborn.

They sent me to A & E for an x-ray today just to check. No bones are broken (My bones are expected to be fragile because of all the radiation)

Lying around on hard narrow trollies not a fun day but glad of results.

Juat this evening heard that a very sweet little ten year old girl died of an asthma attack.

Kayleigh Hunt, I hope heaven is full of unicorns and butterflies for you.

Semi sucessfull experiment.

Squirting painkiller up my nose before I walk tones down the pain a lot, and the pain wears off faster.

I think it will be better next time because I didn't get the first squirt quite right, but I know how to do it now.

I will be at the hospice for a few days for some pain management. (sciatica in one hip)

I will be able to get on the internet but because of the hospice computer security I won't be able to access Twitter or facebook.
