I just bought an epilator/shaver/trimmer and I looove it. It hurts to epilate, but the shaving part is great for when I'm feeling to wussy/lazy. It's supposed to keep you smooth for four weeks, like waxing, though!

Is it safe for the whole entire private area? And how much did it cost?

People use it in that area, but I've just used the shaver so far. It's harder to use on looser skin/around corners, so it seems like it might be difficult. I do use it really close inside my thighs and it works fine. I got mine at Target, this one, for about $65, but see it's cheaper at Amazon. But it's wet/dry, cordless, and has the shaver and trimmer as well as the epilator. That's the cost of one full leg wax, basically, and it's supposed to have the same effect. You have to do it a few times at first because of the different growth cycles of the hair, but I'm feeling pretty smooth right now and I haven't used it in three days!

I might give that a go since I hate waxing but I love that my hair doesn't grow back in weeks. I also need something that will get rid of hair in the bikini area. How does it work dry? I'm curious.. that could save me on gas money for not using hot water when I do shave!
