It's National Novel Writing Month and I'm ahead of pace. Glorious! I could have written more for the day but I'm tired and as soon as I publish this, I'm going to bed.

Ah, December. The time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is busy for most people. People worrying about sending holiday cards, decorating their homes, shopping for loved ones, attending holiday/end of year parties. National Novel Writing Month was a success for me!

Quick stats:

• title - Enough is Full of Romance (though I wrote it as Almost Maybes)
• genre - romance (umm, big surprise?)
• 50,000 words - November 23
• final word count - 60,107 words

National Novel Writing Month 2021 has begun!

• What am I writing?
  I am writing a romance novel I am currently calling “Almost Maybes” after the Jordan Davis song. I had thought I would tie the gist of the song to the story but so far, it’s not really come up for the characters. The story is still young though.

It’s the last day of October aka Halloween Day. I chatted for a couple of hours with my CPN girls and then went off to get my hair cut. We headed out to Walnut Creek to check out the Apple Store. Always a treat to go there.

We’re in the middle of a few rainy days and I don’t mind at all. Looks to be over by Monday morning so must enjoy it now. We certainly need the rain out this way. I’m just glad we didn’t have much to do but sit here and watch football.

Here we are at the end of fall break. Second quarter begins for the students out this way. I actually like this time of year because the weather cools and we get lots of days off from now until the end of the calendar year.

We’re in the middle of fall break here, which is why I’m writing this post on Monday morning. I decided to take the Mondays and Fridays off, which meant a four day weekend last weekend (because I took the Friday off for the concert), a four day weekend for this weekend, and a three day weekend for next. Glorious time!

If baseball is my happy place, then concerts featuring my favorites is my other happy place. So Friday we headed to Sacramento for the first stop of the Blessed & Free tour. The headliner was Kane Brown but I was there to see Jordan Davis.
