Notes: This series came upon be quite unexpectedly. Onverwacht was my first unambiguous slash fic, for although Unintended Witness had a slash scene in it, I left it open ended as to whether there was a real slash pairing in it or not. Here there is.
I decided to go with the title of the first drabble as the series name as it's just so fitting. 'Onverwacht' is Flemish/Dutch for 'unexpected' which works with not only Don not expecting the attention from Ian, but also the fact that it's slash and with the way it snuck up on me. See, Onverwacht is my first completely unprompted drabble. The series got the title for much the same reasons including the fact that Shades of Desire was originally written as a separate drabble and it was only afterwards that I realized they could go together and be the first two in a longer series.
That said, I'm not entirely sure where this is heading, but we'll see, I guess.
