I have been teaching my students about Hundertwasser and so I brought few books about him. While looking through one I was surprised to see a photograph of him with Vali... but I can't find more information about when and where they met (mind you I haven't had time to read all the books I have on Hundertwasser yet). There was a good article in a local paper here in Melbourne, about the volunteers who are keeping Vali's studio going and how they're asking people who have memories of Vali to come in and contribute to a record of such stories ( Read more... )

I was wandering through the halls after class and there was this stack of books outside one door. they were piled there for people to read or take, whatever. there was an old issue of the paris review and it had an interview/article about Vali along with some samples of her work.
