Heading towards the 21st century (with reluctance)

I have decided I would like to get a tailor's dummy - ideally second hand. I asked in my two local fabric shops if they had a notice board or list, but they do not. I've got one I'm not using that you could have - it's an adjustable one and they are not great, it has to be said, but as a first try it's not bad (and if you're really dedicated you can always make a cover for it that bridges the gaps).

I think it's pretty similar to this one, if not identical, although the stand is a darker wood. I'm in Kent but don't mind transporting it - I just want it to go to a good home and feel very guilty about it sitting at the back of the wardrobe when it's practically new. (I upgraded to a "professional" dress form in the summer.)

One careful lady owner! It sounds like a good. I am in Essex (Colchester, to be more specific) and would be happy to come and get it. However I work weekends, so would only be able to come on a Wednesday. How would that suit you?

Will e-mail you off-list in the next day or two - just to say that Wednesdays are usually fine, but actually the next 3 are not possible, and the one after that is Christmas Eve! Can you wait until after Christmas?
