I was at a barnes and noble the other day and overheard this conversation between a retiree and a clerk. She was helping him telling him that books on Goths are not just in the religion section. zombies!!!
Wow, been playing a bit of Left 4 Dead on the xbox. It's a good game, rather intense and it definitely makes you feel like one of the zombie movies. Overall, a great game especially with online play. Though definitely not for kids. -
Seattle trip
This past weekend I went to Seattle, basically I've never been there and a cousin lives there so I had a pad to crash and someone who could be tour guide. This weather for the weekend was perfect, apparently it was a heat wave for Seattle (which meant it was very nice moderate temperature elsewhere).

civ revolution
I've been playing that game a few times on my roommate's 360. It's pretty fun, a lot simpler than the original civ computer game, but that's the whole point. A game that someone can play in 3 or 4 hours.
Ya gotta love a game where Ghandi threatens with war on your civilization. -
I got bit by a frigging Deer!!!
Back in Tokyo now. I was in Nara today, it took longer than expected getting there and seeing the sites. The big feature of Nara was the buddhist temple which has one of the oldest wooden structure in Japan I think, also it has a bunch of deer there. Leaving... on a jet plane... be back on the 8th!
Leaving tomorrow morning, arriving in Tokyo on Saturday (for them) at 5. I managed to get a decent rate at Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa for the first night. Then it's off to Kyoto where we're staying at this ryokan for two nights. We'll hit all the great stuff nearby. Last fencing class is now over
So sad, the last fencing class is now over. I'll be too busy with travel this summer to take part in the advanced beginners class. But the nice thing about the club is we can show up on monday and wednesday evenings for fencing in a less formal setting. I can't wait to show up for that this summer.
