How would anyone suggest I bring up the World health growth charts for breastfed babies to my pediatrician? These charts were released onthe spring of 2006...and on these John is well within the healthy range. -

Ok, so I'm preemptively worrying what the pediatrician is going to say about the munchkn being sllloooowwww on the growing thing. He's averaged almost 5 oz each week, but being that he was barely on the growth chart when he was born (5th percentile) and the chart seems to expect almost an oz a day, he's losing ground on the weight and length. warning labels on DVDs of sesame street, the three little bigs considered offensive (to asian community and to builders)...
sometimes I think people LOOK for offense and then over analyze...then again maybe I'm just oblivious...

My mom has decided she likes calling the munchkin hercules, and today, I think it fits...kicks, not much (to D's dismay)...stretches...LOTS...I'm trying to figure out how he's getting the leverage but he's quite good at making half my belly taunt (shoulder, head, etc. Though I just felt a solid foot, and no tickling it did not help)...I think ( Read more... )
