Although the Church of Rock and Roll strives to be all-inclusive, since music after all cannot belong just to one kind of people, I can understand how my preaching seems to follow a more Christian ethic, and might seem out of place to others. If there were such a thing as karma, wouldn't those who perpetuate good karma be rewarded? I say that because I have led a mostly good life to this point. The only things that I have ever expected have ended up hurting me in some way. If there is such a thing as karma, it is fickle and cruel. To give one person good luck and fortune and take it away from another seems wicked.

Is it possible that karma is affected by a persons emotional instability? If so, it would prove to be the reason I've had such a horrible gut feeling the past 6 months.

As I say, the rewards for our actions are not always apparent in this life. As far as one person's fortune detracting from another's, that certainly holds true in the case of material fortune, but when dealing with spirit energy, it's not the same as economics because we're not talking about physical gains, but spiritual. The love of the Divinity is infinite. The important thing is that we seek and acknowledge it.

I know you feel confused and discouraged in these times, Tony, but I don't doubt the goodness in your heart, nor the fortune that awaits such goodness.
