So I have known for a long time that my local council were idiots, but now I'm the brunt of their idiocy and i'm at the point where i'm even considering moving way out of the area to get away from said idiocy. Shadow
Shadow was sick last night, his eyes were sad and painful and he was rolling and kicking his belly and pawing the ground. Then vet Tom came out, Tom has studied in the UK and is great with dogs and horses from what I've seen. He asked me millions of qustions that I've never been asked before, he basicallly wanted to know Shadow's life story haha. ( Read more... ) -
I can do stuff!
Led little Katie over jumps today, a small one obviously. She did really well and Shadow was quite happy with it. (if he's not he just kicks it over lol) Also led her around trotting and trotting over the jump. She was really relaxed and confident so I took the lead off and asked her to ride shadow around in a circle around a red bucket. She did ( Read more... ) -
yep, more horse stuff
I found this website called science of motion which I am currently in love with. This man basically studies the science of the horse's movement and focuses on the certbral collum and how humans riding them effects it and incorperates this knowledge into his training. We had friends over for dinner tonight. Weird. People, coming here, for food and talk and stuff. I'm really not as ridiculously isolated and anti-social as I make myself appear to be but it's still quite rare for people to actually say they're coming for dinner and actually turn up.
