Sounds like my last job...I took it because it was offered to me not in a field or position I liked or wanted but hey a job is job...or so I thought. I figured I'd stick it out and try and really I only did so because there were too many people involved in helping me get the job. Like you I should've listened to my instincts from the start and RUN for high hills but I didn't and lets just say the situation went to hell in a gasoline hand basket -.-.

I'm glad your not stuck in a miserable position and you seem happy with your decision so all's well that ends well!

Same here. My friend's gf (who I had never met at the time) was working there and that's how he came to know of the vacancy. He told me to send in my resume by email and next day i got an interview and a day later i was hired. It happened so fast that I never even got to think about whether i wanted the job or not. I decided I'd try it but from the first day I realized that everyone there was miserable and looking to jump ship. The owner/boss is very disrespectful and belittling and my friend's gf, who is what I refer to as the second-in-command, is actually the most hated person, which I highly doubt he is aware of

Aw, that's really awful, having that kind of people around you... It must have been hard on your part.
