Green wedding...

A green wedding was TOTALLY my goal.

Here are some other ways to make your wedding greens. Minimize wastage. Have plan for the extra food (we donated ours to a charity, and fed two shelters! YEY). Cloth napkins, online RSVP, foregoing useless favours with actual useful things (or donating to a charity?)

A hemp-cotton dress IS ecological friendly. In general natural fabrics are a greener choice than anything humanmade, like polyester. So: silk, hemp, cotton all good choices of fabric!

Another big way to be environmentally conscious is food. Choosing local organic is an awesome way of being green :)

I will be talking to the caterer about organic foods, but I've found it hard to find organic food stores in the area. I'd make my dress of silk, but that will probably be too expensive, so it'll probably be satin. Not the best kind of fabric I know, but I can only spend so much. Depending on how much food we have left, we'll definitely donate, but I will try very hard to not have too much left over. Everything else is already covered.
