I hope those are reindeer cows. Castration of bulls can be tricky. IIRC, if the epididymis isn't properly crushed/scraped it can produce sufficient testosterone to trigger rutting behaviour. You don't want to find yourself leading a rutting bull.

Yep yep they are cows! Apparently in the past though they did have a 'handleable' male, I'm pretty glad they saw the error in that quickly. I'm leary enough of the sisters with their racks!
