Everything works out in the end, last minute or not. Truly, it does.
At first a few comrads from York urged me to attend this show months earlier but i just muttered fuck it, funding isn't there etc...and last minute, some Toronto cunt couldn't attend and BAM! Greyhounding my ass over there=)

It astonishes me how many Torontonians DIDN'T attend, this whole scene (if you may even call it that) makes me wanna vomit. Even OPETH themselves called it a bunch of posers. It just aint the same. The time will come, rest assured. Once in a lifetime.
Sound was great, my faith in the 4 piece lead guitarist/singer is restored more than ever. Unbelievable sound and setlist! Samoths absence was a grave disappointment but believe you me, Ihsahn and the boys made up for it!

I know exactly what you mean. I can't wait to get out of this place. I don't know where I'll go but travelling sounds so fucking amazing. Glad your trip was fun.. I'm jealous that you got to go to NYC. I haven't been yet... the trip was planned and cancelled a few times. :(
