I got my ears re-pierced professionally too (but at 10g because I'm going to stretch them to a 2g). Claire's can eat a fat one. Getting pierced in my scar tissue from their crappy piercings hurt so bad!

The guy who did my earlobes used an earring to open one of the holes, which meant pushing through scar tissue. You're right; it sucked a lot.
