Weasel!

I saw a weasel (Mustela nivalis) today. This is the first time I've ever seen one living; and is the first mustelid I've seen in the wild other than sea otters and North American river otters. Fortunately, I didn't kill it; it darted in front of my car, then quickly ran back again and disappeared into the grass.

I live! I'm afraid I update FB much more often than here nowadays. I keep meaning to update here more often, but obviously, that's not been happening. ;)
