Inspiration: Nicolle's Dreams

When I adopted Caro, she already had a beautiful face-up by Mingyi, and I wouldn't dare touch it or remove it. This isn't the case with the rest of my girls, however. I've been adopting BJDs like a madwoman lately (yes, I plan to have a big dollie family), and the brand new ones are coming bare-faced, the secondhand ones with "disposable" faceups. You can buy the parts separately, but that comes out more expensive sometimes. Normally, the doll head and body are sold together.

Wow, everything is so beautiful. In fact, I cannot choose my favorite.

Hope to see your own work soon, Vanessa. :)

Pretty nervous about the outcome of my own work, but it won't kill me to try. XD

When I was still living in Melbourne I have met her and she seemed like a nice girl. :) I did not talk to her much though as I was busy with my other (then) friend and we were somewhat a different kind of group? ^^; Because the group she is with are very fond of Soom dolls.

She is quite talented I have to say and very nice. I have seen her work in real life as many of the Melbourne people wanted their makeups done by her as it is just much better to get it done locally and knowing the artist personally is a big plus. :)

Anyway, /random. XD

She was with the Soom group? So far she's only shared her Fairyland dolls, though. o_o

I wish she would take commissions again, I'd love to have her work on one of my girls. <3 but yeah, local means I'd feel safer, if I ever decide to. Still pushing through with my crazy plan to do all my girls' faceups. :P

I meant during meet ups, she was usually with those people that owned SOOM dolls from what I have remembered. I don't mean that she owns/shared many Soom dolls, just that she was hanging out with the Soom crowd. :)

There may have been a few people who owned Fairyland dolls she hung out with but I did not pay too much attention as it was hard to mingle with a lot of people that I didn't know. ^^; Was too overwhelming.

So I just stuck with someone I knew at the time.

Good luck on the make-ups. :) It is definitely a very rewarding thing to learn and do! XD
