meh. i was going to write this whole long comment, providing wisdom from my EONS of experience in the workforce. then i realized i was sounding like a huge downer. i'm not a lot of help. boo me.

i totally know how you feel. all of our classes are five units a semester and most classes go a full year, so it's always so hard to choose

I think that you should take the Chinese class because if you need a foreign language then it's best to take the one you're interested in/think you can do well in. Even if you don't know it because the point of it is to learn the language, not particularly master it
