I guess these people have never had to spend a Holiday watching someone they love waste away. I've seen it too much and felt it too much. Sheltered or oblivious, I don't know which, seems to be the underlying cause for the masses ignorace of the holidays true purpose. My uncle took the week between Christmas and New Years off, not becauase he wanted more time away from work, but because he had to make funeral arrangements for his wife. People value each other less than they do objects sitting on store selves, and here my family is trying to keep each other together as we may face yet another death. Screw people who don't understand the value of family, the value of friendship, and people who do not know the love of each.
