Yeah, I know I haven't updated in forever.

I'm alive and... sick, actually.

New PC, which is awesome. I'm still getting it configured. Old one is about to be reformatted under Fedora and will become a file server.

We have not one but two new girlies, who are both awesome.

Now, I'm heading to bed, but alive and well.

It's bedtime, and yes, I know I'm overdue for an update, but I have to share. Chocolate chip bacon cookies ROCK. They may be the most perfect food ever. Take yer standard recipe on the back of the bag of chocolate chips, substitute bacon for nuts. Generic rice krispies are not the same. Buy a box of real rice krispies. Because rice krispy treats = teh awesomeness. I'm willing to bet that when the zombies take over the world, and we're all boarded up in our houses, I can trade a batch of rice krispy treats for some (something) ala king. Due to what War did to our finances, Merrick and I have been using the food that I've had in storage to live on. Not a problem, really. Yes, we're fine. Minor tweaking of the budget, not a big deal. My neighbor's kids have been tormenting me for months with their garage band. I can't tell what they're playing, but it's enough that from their garage, it's clearly audible in my living room (neighbor's garage, space, office, Merrick's room, living room), even with the hunting ear plugs in.
