Alas, you made me laugh, though I identify totally!

No need to ask them to pipe down. Just carry a razor with you and reach across and slash their necks. Very effective, you will have pin-drop, sorry, blood-drop, silence...!

I am getting updates on you from the Panambur Beauty, my dear, would like a first-hand update too...when you find time!

Well...Panambur was the email id she used, so that's what I call her.

Still visualizing your dad as the Panambur beauty...I am sure he would be less than thrilled!

You are changing your job and saying nothing important is happening???Humph! you also now have a friend-in-law in the same co...

I think I'm especially sensitive to people in movies being noisy. Maybe too much so. Occasionally shortindiangirl will whisper something, like, "I missed that -- what just happened?" My response is typically a rather unsympathetic, "SSSSSSSHHHHH!!!" that probably is actually louder than her question was to begin with.

When the first plasma huge-screens hit the market a few years ago at $15,000, I was shocked by the idea that someone would spend that much on a TV. Two people can go to over 750 movies in the theater at $10 a piece before the match that... it would probably take most people long enough to see that many movies that by the time they did, plasmas would be long obsolete and replaced by something better. Then again, when you're watching at home it's not a problem to pause the movie when someone is distracting you by making noise so you can whack them over the head with a couch cushion. Then you can play from the beginning of the scene...

This was my comment... stupid browser logged me out of LJ and I didn't notice. And worse, now I can't fix the hyperlinks that the LJ editor seems to have horribly screwed up...
