Shaking that sinking feeling

Dec 22, 2005 22:14

I'm sore from paintball. Not even from getting shot, either. Just all the running around and jumping and stuff. Wow. But it was fun and definately worth it. Now how to pay Ross back for his generosity...

Anyhow. I felt like writing something philosophical, so here. ( The sinking feeling thing. )

I oddly enough am not sore at all.

And yea, I know what ya mean... heck, I feel so freaking burned out I'm disturbingly apathetic about everything right now... I'm just tired..... emotionally, pyhsically, spiritually (that's the scary part) .... I just don't really feel like I care that much ... though I hope that changes soon (at least the spiritual part)

But it's like you said, no matter how much I feel like giving up it's the last thing I'm going to do because it's too important to just drop. But damn I'm just so tired right now.... of all of it .... (but then again you know my reasons) ... just pray I get over this... I know I am

( HA! I take your emo post and counter emo you tenfold... take that!)

The idea is that the post acknowledges the downcast feeling of emoness and rises above it. Not to seem rude, but...did you read the whole thing?

the world is not made of love and peace. how can you even say that? do you even love God?

Well...mainly it's just a quote from an anime I like. I suppose I like the quote because I believe that despite sinfulness and hatred and the confusion of life, there is a good part of humanity too--that part is what's left of God's original design of us. So that's probably where I was going with it.

saying that there is a good part of humanity and saying that the world is made of love and peace are two very different things. you should try harder to make what you mean and what you say more similar to one another so you don't confuse people and just look like a total dumbass.

um...okay, if you say so. Like I said, the phrase is from an anime called Trigun, and as such it's probably just a poor translation. The anime reference there is more the point than whatever pholosophical nuance it might entail. So I would think anyway. But take that as you will.
