[Well. It's better late than never, isn't it?

It'd been a few days now since Yukari's birthday had passed on the nineteenth, and thanks to the kraken, she'd had to delay her plans

Selphie in the Water! Everyone Come Splash!

*Selphie was like a - a duck to water. And she oddly resembled one too. With all the flapping she was doing, and that yellow bikini, she did look a bit special. But she was clearly having a lot of fun, chasing the waves and jumping around.

Don't worry, Yukari! She hasn't forgotten it's your birthday. There's a big batch of reasonably edible chocolate cookies and a handmade birthday card waiting for her on the beach that says:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY YUKARI!~

I totally don't know you, but I hope your birthday is awesome!

"Okay! So, just feet first, like you're getting in the bath. It's nice and easy!"

And Selphie will just step slowly into the water, not to give him a fright with any splashing.

"Come on!"

Onion Knight obliges, stepping into the water and grinning a little as he felt the cool water wash over his feet. He doesn't need any further prompting to splash his way further into the water, going out until it almost reaches his knees. It's as far as he can go without getting his shorts wet.

"Selphie!" he calls, "Are you coming in?"

Selphie laughed out loud and walked quickly after Onion Knight, happily making huge big splashes everywhere.

"Keep going! Keep going!"

She laughed some more as she chased him through the water.

Ahahaha... Onion Knight doesn't want to go deeper into the water if he's going to be avoiding those massive splashes; he's sure it'll be harder to move further in the water. Instead, he attempts to get away by going parallel to the beach.

But he's laughing all the same. "I bet you can't catch me!"

Ah, Selphie. So clumsy on land, even more so in water. She's laughing breathlessly, doing her best to run through the water towards him - but the water's up by her thighs, and she struggles to move quickly.

"I'll get you!~~"

Onion Knight makes sure he doesn't get too far ahead, slowing down so Selphie can keep up. In fact, is he turning back? Why, yes, he is!

And he's got a mischievous grin on his face; he's planning on splashing her as soon as she gets near enough.

Selphie's so busy concentrating on going after Onion Knight that she doesn't even noticed that he's heading towards her. Yeah, she'll just keep going and going until she stops!

"Oh!"

Do you like being splashed, Selphie? Because Onion Knight was doing just that. Are you going to let him get away with that?

Eep! Nope! No way. So Selphie ducks and scoops as much water as she can at him. And she'll start kicking super hard too.

What are those cookies doing on the beach though, they should be on the table with all the other yummy food. Or at least with the rest of her presents. She picks them up and reads the card. Oddly enough, it...brings a smile to her face, though she's used to getting these kinds of cards from strangers--usually secret admirers.

Boys who just wanted to get into her pants.

This one seems pretty genuine though...and she spots Selphie in the water and...after a moment of consideration, she gives her a wave.

Huh, is that her...?]

*Not this time, Yukari! Selphie can safely say that she has no interest in getting into Yukari's pants. No offense, but she just isn't Selphie's type. Being female doesn't help.

Selphie's stopped splashing around and now she's peering into the water, looking for signs of fish or crabs or something. She's distracted by the sight of the wave, and of course stands straight to wave brightly back*

[She laughs a bit. She hasn't changed into her swimsuit yet, so she doesn't join her right away, but she does call out to her, still holding the present in her hands.]

H-How's the water?

*Selphie leans forward, cupping a hand around her mouth as she shouts back*

Awesome! Come on in!~

Gotta go put these on the table first!

[She shouts back, holding up the cookies with a light giggle.]

And change, too. I'll be there soon!

*Selphie just stares, and does actually wonder why she even put the cookies on the sand in the first place. And she laughs, and turns back to looking for crabs while Yukari's gone*
